the oval base surmounted by a satyr holding a cornucopia and supported by a satyr with two fish and a snail, floral engraving around the basin and base, on a veined green marble base
Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is very good. There is some minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. The satyr sitting on top of the cup is missing the thyrsus from his left hand. There is a slightly visible original casting joint on the arm of the satyr underneath the cup and a small hole in his lower back. There are a few minor chips and scratches to the marble base, particularly at the edges, though overall the condition of the marble is good.
