An Italian carved alabaster tazza on stand 19th century

with acanthus wrapped handles, the bowl centred by a sunflower head and with a gadrooned rim on a turned support and fluted socle, repairs

The bowl has repaired and stapled breaks. One snake is missing and one handle is broken and detached. The bowl is ill fitting on its base due to wear. Surface dirt and minor chips throughout.
