the circular top with a beaded border above stylised lotus leaves on square base
Literature
This plinth is illustrated positioned under a console table in a watercolour by William Henry Hunt dated 1822 of the 6th Duke's Library at Chatsworth.
Condition
Good overall condition. Stained with a build up of dirt. Minor chips to the leaf carved decoration and chips to the edge of the square plinth.
