Probably supplied by William Parker and Son to William Cavendish, 5th Duke of Devonshire (1748-1811) for the Ducal Gallery in the Chapel, Chatsworth

The candelarbra are each on mahogany bases which were formally attached to a larger item. They are each missing some anthenium decoration. The drip trays have been drilled for electricity. The gilt bronze is tarnished and worn. The pair of candlesticks also appear to have come off a larger piece and are lacking parts of their nozzles with general wear and corrosion throughout.
