Description

  • Wood and silk
ensuite to the previous lot, redecorated.

Provenance

Probably ordered by William Cavendish, 5th Duke of Devonshire (1748-1811) in conjunction with his second wife Lady Elizabeth Foster (1759–1824)

Condition

Generally good but over the years there have been 'estate' repairs to this lot, this includes re-railing. With age crack to the shaped back reserve. Redecorated. Silk covering to the seat tired and would benefit from a clean.
