the oval top painted with a neo-classical scene attributed to Robert Smirke, with a pleated silk work bag suspended between four boxwood strung tapering legs united by a quatre-form stretcher, losses, silk replaced

Condition

The painted satinwood top is protected by a glass cover but has numerous stains and paint splashes. The base has scratches and marks throughout and some old woodworm holes. Part of the stretcher is missing.
