Overall condition of bust is good. Some wear consistent with age. Several areas of losses to the paint, including the back of the head, the proper left side of the head, the proper right temple, and the proper right cheek and neck. Area of staining to the drapery on the lower proper left side. Repainted chip to the edge of the drapery in the centre of the chest. Large loss to truncation on the proper right side. A few further minor losses and chips, including to the upper eyelid of the proper right eye, the edges of the drapery and the edges of the base.
