  • 81cm. by 67cm; 2ft. 8in. by 2ft. 2½in.
two volumes, the spines tooled: STAMPE / DA RAFFAELLO DI URBINO, each album with grey marbled paper fly sheets enclosing now approximately eighty sheets of wove paper, one watermarked SMITH, 1801, with a number of sheets of later nineteenth century wove paper loosely inserted 

Condition

The leather is in poor general condition with a great deal of wear and some loses. The paper inside has some staining.

Catalogue Note

It is likely that these folios orginally contained Volpato's coloured engravings after Raphael, collected by the 5th Duke. They where subsequently removed are now framed.
