Description
- 223cm. high, 128cm. wide, 55cm. deep; 7ft. 3 ¾in., 4ft. 2 ¼in. 1ft. 9 ¾in.
the upper section with a pair of doors with unusual serpentine shaped panels opening to reveal four tray shelves, above a secretaire and three long drawers, on splayed feet
Condition
In country house condition. Minor bruises and chips to cornice. Doors quite severely warped. Losses to the base of the upper section. Lower sides to left and right upper sections with losses to veneer and carcass. Drawers standing slightly proud due to carcass shrinkage. Chip to lower left corner of left door. Minor veneer loss to lower left corner of writing drawer. Losses to veneers on left side flanking drawers and corresponding bracket foot. Bracket feet to other side with minor similar wear. One back plate missing to one of the bottom drawer handles. Old marks and scratches. Good colour and patina. Unusual design.
