Provenance
The Sculleries in the Ducal residences all contained large plate racks. One is mentioned in the Chiswick House Inventory of 1770 in the Kitchen and Scullery section and another is recorded in the Chatsworth Inventory of 1792, p.61 in the Scullery.
Condition
Fair condition, but will need to be cleaned and redecorated. Six missing spindles. General wear consistent with age and use.
