- largest surrounds 243.5cm. high, 150cm. wide; 7ft. 11¾in., 4ft. 11in.
each cream painted and with acanthus, line and bead and reel decoration together with another but with one upright reduced in width and including a narrower door surround with conforming decoration, each upright with a skirting block, three surrounds from the Lift Lobby and with labels inscribed Lift Lobby to Dukes Sitting Room, Lift Lobby to Staircase Hall, Lift Lobby Outside Dining Room the narrower set labelled Entrance Lobby to Dining Room, and the skirting blocks with the same in pencil (20)
Condition
All the frames are in fair condition but are each dismantled into sections. All have stains, ingrained dirt and other signs of wear including chipping throughout. The shorter sections all have horizontal splits with chips and fragmentation to the area.
The larger surround's aperture: 207.5cm x 150cm.
