Description
- 94cm. high, 158cm. long, 74cm. deep; 3ft. 1in., 5ft. 2¼in., 2ft. 5in.
with a metal plate stamped 'The Patent 'Plycene' Stands / Hardwear' with lathe and bobbin turned struts including removable gates, together with a pair of gates from another bed, with a paper label printed Lady Hartington and a luggage label printed Devonshire, Compton Place, Eastbourne, the reverse of which is inscribed in pencil from Edensor House

Lady Mary Gascoygne-Cecil, Lady Hartington, later Duchess of Devonshire (1895-1988), wife of the 10th Duke, who married in 1917 and who bore five children between 1917 and 1927
Condition
Distressed condition. Two sections of the sides are detached. Many signs of wear with scratches and stains throughout.
