Description

- 126cm. high, 203cm. wide; 4ft. 1½in., 6ft. 8in.
in the manner of William Kent, the broken pediment centred by a scrolled scallop shell and with borders of guilloche, line, reel and bead, now in two sections and cut down, not illustrated
Condition
Distressed condition with many losses to the gilt gesso decoration, especially to the scrolling pediment and the decoration on the frieze. The crest is missing much of it's decoration including the acanthus leaf to the left hand side. The guilloche border to the sides and base is also missing much of it's decoration.
