the open madder mihrab beneath a jade stepped arch within a yellow blossom border and multiple guard borders, with ink label `Hardwick' on reverse

Condition

Even pile overall, approx 5mm. Original overcast red and blue sides, with some later sections using same colour banding. Original red guards at ends and fringes. Small hole in top section left of mihrab, in the white ground of narrow border, near purple flower. Dark brown oxidized. Overall really very good condition.
