with interlocking design of red and gold rectangular coffer motifs, labelled Queen of Scots Dressing Room; together with two machine woven hearth rugs, Europe, 20th century, including a dark and light maroon machine woven hearth rug with trellis floral pattern within main field and lace style scalloped border edge (186 by 92cm, 6ft. 1in., 3ft.) (not illustrated); and a bright red rug, with scattered lighter red foliate motifs of stylised crown design, with stylised scalloped edge (182 by 82cm, 6ft. 2ft., 8in). (not illustrated) (3)

Carpet: good overall condition Maroon rug: (186 by 92cm, 6ft. 1in., 3ft.); Deep pile fair condition overall Bright red rug: (182 by 82cm, 6ft. 2ft., 8in.(with cords visible in sections along sides and corners, thick pile (though flattened)
