A collection of games 19th century and later

including a group of disc shape bone counters, dice, plastic chequers, a painted boxwood MATRIMONY gaming board and a Victorian word-making game in original box contained within an associated oak Mapin & Webb silver box with brass carrying handles

The games are all missing some components. The boxes are decorative but have signs of wear and stains. The oak case formerly had a inset tablet to its lid. Splits, marks and scratches throughout.
