A set of Victorian oak, walnut and leather upholstered Jockey scales by Youngs of London circa 1880

the seat with scrolled arms, the gilt brass scale with adjustable weight and a columnar stem branded in two places, the first with Youngs, Bear Street, London, W.C. and at the base Youngs Patent London with a carved foliate frieze and turned fluted legs

The legs frieze and top are in good condition with only minor scratches and marks and some pitting to the top surface. The leather upholstery is distressed and torn. The brass work would benefit from a polish. There is only one large weight (not labelled) but the mechanism appears to be in working order.
