each base cast with the words The Cavendish Tennis Posts; Ayres Patent (for F. H. Ayres), together with a pair of Slazenger tennis post bases and one post (the other lackingand a cast iron and ball-bearing winch by Stewart, Chicago, one leg detached (5)

Condition

The pair of tennis posts are in worn but useable condition with stains and surface corrosion throughout. The other items are all in fair condition although heavily stained and marked throughout with some surface corrosion.
