Description
- Wood, tortoishell, ivory, and mirrored glass
- 79cm. high, 158cm. when fully extended; 31in., 62¼in.
in Dutch seventeenth century style with two hinged side panels enclosing a large central panel each with bevelled mirror plates, the reverse with fixing plates
Condition
A very finely made piece of pleasing proportions in very good, restored condition. The smaller mirror frames are inlaid with ivory lines to the backs. There are some gaps between the tortoiseshell sections and one of the smaller mirrors is missing one length of ripple moulding.
