Condition

Pile ranges from 1/6 of an inch with areas of wear in oxidation low to knotheads and spot foundation throughout, borders in generally better pile. Partially rewoven side borders and reweaves scattered through border system. Smaller reweaves in the field. A dark stain in upper end of field. Sides later overcast and ends secured with binding stitch. Green stripes abrash from lime to apple green. Repaired foldwear slits at each end to allow the carpet to lie flat. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Pease check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance with such enquiries Very supple handle, lustrous wool, luminous colors, sound fabric, restored and ready for use.
