Condition

Pile generally good approximately 1/6inche overall with scattered areas of foldwear low to knotheads, and soft browns also oxidized to knotheads, minor spot foundation; repiling scattered throughout. Cut lengthwise in two places: one third of the way in from the left side of the carpet and along left edge of field; rewoven areas in borders at cuts. Sides reselvaged and ends secured with binding stitch. Carpet chemically washed to fade the colors. PLEASE NOTE THAT A LICENSE FROM THE U.S. OFFICE OF FOREIGN ASSETS CONTROL (OFAC) WILL BE REQUIRED TO EXPORT ANY TEXTILE, RUG OR CARPET OF IRANIAN ORIGIN. Very lustrous wool, supple handle, sound fabric; restored and ready for use. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Pease check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance with such enquiries
