Description

  • wool
  • approximately 5ft. 2in. by 4ft. 2in. (1.57 by 1.27m.)

Condition

Pile generally good, near original closely sheared 1/8 inch lustrous wool with small areas of foldwear low to knotheads and foundation throughout due to puckering from uneven tension in the weave---this could be lessened with blocking. Sides with original polychrome wool selvages, minor losses. Ends with original diagonally striped soumac finishes, now with uneven losses. Supple handle, sound fabric, good overall condition.
