Condition

Pile ranges from approximately 1/10 of an inch, mostly in border, to low to knotheads and spot foundation. Some oxidized browns, some repiled. One approximately 2-1/2 inch repaired vertical slit in lower end border. Scattered foldwear. Very minor scattered moth damage. Some visible warps and wefts in oxidized and foldwear areas. Lower end missing approximately 1/2 of border and guard stripe. Upper end complete. Both ends with applied fringes and cloth band sewn on reverse. Sides partially overcast. Flexible handle, attractive archaic design, charming animals, sound fabric and condition. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements.
