Condition

Pile generally low to knotheads with areas of wear showing foundation, particularly in upper half of field. One, approximately 8 x 6 inch reweave in upper left corner border. Some turquoise tinting on reverse of upper left corner. Scattered spot stains. Sides partially overcast, now with some losses and fraying. Upper end with partial outer guard border, now secured with chainstitch. Lower end missing out guard stripes, also secured with chainstitch---now fraying in areas. Flexible handle. Good honest condition, very graphic design. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements.
