Condition

Pile generally low to knotheads and spot foundation throughout. Scattered foldwear and surface wear overall, most visible in field. Some scattered tinting and some repiling. A 4 inch by 4inch reweave in lower right section of field. A 3in. by 3in. reweave in left side guard border and surround around center of carpet. Some scattered moth damage. Upper right corner with rustically repaired corner. Sides with fraying and losses to selvages, now partially reselvaged. Upper end lacking blue surround, now secured with chain stitch. Lower end with losses to outer blue surround, most in right corner where carpet is fraying into outer guard stripes. Lower end partially secured with chain stitch. Very supple handle. Good overall design. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements.
