Description

- approximately 6ft. 4in. by 4ft. 4in. (1.93 by 1.32m.)
Condition
Design in relief approximately 1/6in. with beige ground trimmed to 1/10in. Roses in flower heads over tinted. Very minor foldwear showing warp ties. A small 1.5in. by 0.25 in. area moth damage near center. The upper quarter of arch with oxidized ivories down to knotheads. Sides with remnants of purple silk selvages, now with some fraying. Lower end with partial original flatweave and uneven warp fringes, original cable stitch intact. Upper end with small losses to outer red guard stripes, fraying; recommend securing. FLexible handle, lustrous wool, sound fabric and condition.
