Condition

Pile uneven as visible in catalogue illustration, ranging from areas generally in border near original 1/8th of an inch pile with areas of foldwear and wear low to foundation. Repiled moth damage along right edge of carpet. Some areas of foundation with faded tinting. A 18 inch repaired foldwear slit on left lower side and a 15 inch repaired foldwear slit on the left center side. Remnants of original selvages with losses and fraying and later overcasting. Discolorations and abrash to field with the red at the upper end fading into fuchsine. Ends with original ivory 1/2 inch kilim with some nicks and fraying. Very flexible handle, sound fabric, handsome design.
