7 parts in one volume, oblong 8vo (4 5/8 x 7 1/4 in.; 118 x 180 mm). 7 divisional titles, 219 (of 221) handcolored engraved maps and plans by Pieter van den Keere, Salomon Rogier, Jodocus Hondius Jr. and others; lacks engraved title-page and leaves Y2.4 which contain the maps of the Duchy of Lothringen and Lutzenburg, occasional dampstaining along top margin, upper right corner of Ggg3 extended with some loss of text on verso. Contemporary calf panelled in blind, the spine in 5 compartments with raised bands, one compartment lettered gilt, plain endpapers, red sprinkled edges; bookplate removed from front pastedown, upper joint rubbed and starting.
