Three-language printed form with manuscript accomplishment, signed ("Go Washington"), countersigned by Edmund Randolph as Secretary of State, Salem, MA, 23 December 1795, on behalf of the schooner Cynthia owned by Hezekiah Flint, papered seal; a few fold tears. Matted, glazed and framed.
Jefferson, Thomas. Four-language printed form with manuscript accomplishment, signed ("Th Jefferson"), countersigned by James Madison as Secretary of State, New York, 19 April 1802, on behalf of the schooner Atalanta owned by Thomas Hasam, papered seal; a few mended fold tears. Matted, glazed and framed.
Grant, Ulysses S. Four-language printed form with manuscript accomplishment, signed ("U.S. Grant"), countersigned by Hamilton Fish as Secretary of State, New Bedford, MA, 19 April 1875, on behalf of the brig Abbott Laurence owned by Eluha E. Russell, papered seal, embossed stamp; fold-tears mended with residue of cello tape. Matted, glazed and framed.
