Trembly (but lacking plate 500, Baird's bunting, with a duplicate of plate 362, roseate spoonbill, bound in its stead), numerous wood-engraved text illustrations, some half-titles; preliminaries foxed, some toning to text and plates. Contemporary blind-panelled brown morocco, spines gilt in compartments, marbled endpapers, gilt edges; extremities a bit rubbed.
