A very rare—and possibly unrecorded— Lincoln assassination handbill, being an order for a day or mourning and reflection issued by J. C. McKee, the Surgeon in charge of Lincoln General Hospital in Washington, D.C. Lincoln General was established as a military hospital in December 1862, and was the largest such facility in the area.
