Description

  • Seventeenth-century manuscript of regulations of the guild of bakers and pastrycooks, issued by the mayor of Zittau in Bohemia, 22 pages, folio, on vellum, vellum boards gilt, gilt edges, some wear, Zittau, 1685, renewed in 1750
  • ink on paper
together with two Swdeish manuscripts relating to gastronomy and domestic economy including a set of royal household accounts for the year 1555, a nineteenth-century illustrated treatise on the Chinese method of hatching duck eggs and of preparing soy, and another later treatise, some 70 pages in all, folio and 4to, sixteenth to twentieth centuries
