Catalogue Note

First edition in Danish of Anna Wecker's Ein Köstlich new Kochbuchthe first cookery book to be published by a woman. The original German text was first published posthumously by her daughter in 1597. This book appears to be unrecorded by Nielsen and Bruun, who record only Wecker's Fuldkommen Kaage-Bog of 1675, also translated by Kolding.
