Catalogue Note

Extremely rare. The Trincir-Buch deals with a wide range of seventeenth-century table manners, including the folding of napkins, the carving, serving and presentation of fowl and fruit, and the ordering of banquets. In the foreword Harsdörffer (1607-1658) acknowledges his debt to both Procacchi and Giegher.
