Catalogue Note

Selon Thieme et Becker, Carlo Antonini (1740 - 1821)  fut architecte, dessinateur et graveur, actif à Rome  à la fin du XVIIIe siècle et au début du XIXe ; selon Zani vers 1784 à Modene. Il grava principalement  d'après l'antique et se rapproche dans sa technique plus ou moins de Piranese, mais d'un style plus académique et plus sec.
