Description
à quatre et cinq compartiments, le premier décoré d'un dragon en écaille incrusté sur un fond de nuages fundame, le deuxième avec un aigle et un prunier en fleur en iroe takamakie sur un fond or nashiji, signé Heisensai, le troisième avec une scène lacustre en or takamakie sur un fond nashiji, détails de kirigane, sur le quatrième, un pont traversant une rivière bordée de sapins, signé, le dernier en laque rouge sculptée à décor de pivoine et chrysanthème
Condition
1st: early dragon. The inlay of the dragon on the top compartment of one side was lifted at one point but fixed, there are some usual rubbing, but generally good.
2nd eagle: The left side (where the himo goes through) on the front has about 2,5cm x 5mm area of fold restoration.
3rd lakescene- Some minor areas of kirigane missing but it is usual, the himotoshi hole areas have minor rubbing.
4th bridge- top part of the handle of the bridge has small chips, the lacquer ground is slightly dry, inscribed Hokkyo Korin, the compartments hard to open.
5th cinabar lacquer - Very good condition. The compartments don't open.
