ouvrant à deux battants, les ferrures finement ouvragées, à l'intérieur le Bouddha Amitābha assis en vajrasana sur une base lotiforme et surmonté d'une mandorle, de chaque côté un boddhisattva agenouillé sur une plateforme de nuages
Condition
The mandorla above the figure inside the left door is loose and can detach ; the ring of mandorla above the figure inside the right door is also loose ; one of the lotus petals of the pedestal of the central figure is chipped and repaired ; two other petals have cracks ; one with some fritting to the edge ; some overall wear to the gilding as visible on the catalogue illustration ; the external case has one chip to the rail around the base ; a few chips and some fritting to the back of the roof ; one area black re-painted on 10x1cm ; a few expected dents and two secured vertical cracks to the rear of the box ; some flakes with later black-repaints ; the bronze mounts are in good condition.
