Description

hexagonale surmontée d'un toit étagé sur deux niveaux, le pourtour à décor incisé de lotus sur un fond nanako, de tourbillons de nuages, de vagues et de lotus argent en réserve, la section centrale ouvrant à deux vantaux révélant une guanyin dorée assise, un genou replié, sur un rocher en shakudo, l'intérieur des portes serties de plaques incrustées de Futen et Raden en iroe takazogan, signées Kahuhotei et Konkan et kao respectivement, le revers du rocher incisé Iwamoto et kao, socle en bois

Condition

Good condition. There is a pin is missing in one of the hinges of the left door. Twelve of the small metal rings originally hanging from the tip-end of the roof structure are missing. Some minor surface wear to edges of the inlaid cartouche chased inside the left door. Some light rubbing to the gilding in places, but overall good.
