Condition

The bottle is in good condition with the exception of some surface scratches to the glaze around the body and a small original kiln grit by the foot (showing on the illustration in the catalogue). The neck has been shortened and adapted with Jialong period silver mounts (1762-1820). The blue is of a somewhat lighter cobalt tone, less ultramarine, than on the catalogue illustration.
