le pourtour sculpté de cartouches de paysages et personnages alternant avec des panneaux ajourés de fleurs, le socle orné d'une frise de dragons gui ajourée, les pieds décorés de feuilles, glace moderne rapportée

Condition

The table screen is now fitted with a mirror. The top section and the stretcher can detach from the two feet. The four carved reticulated sections around the frame are somewhat disjointed and sligthly loose. A 9mm chip to the edge of the upper left cartouche with peonies (showing on the illustration in the catalogue), some cracks to the plain veneered invory section to the reverse ; a 1.5 x 1cm chip to the side of the upper right corner revealing the wood beneath ; a few other smaller chips along the rear right edge ; the top ivory veneered rail to the reverse is covered with an old masking paper tape ; a chip to the ivory veneered section beneath the lower left corner (1.5 x 2cm) revealing the wood beneath ; some cracks in the ivory stretcher below the lower reticulated frieze ; some ivory pin missing ; some age cracks to the feet.
