en soie beige et bleu foncé, à décor brodé de trois médaillons centraux agrémentés de fleurs et papillons dans des rinceaux fleuris, un symbole shou encerclé de chauve-souris au milieu, le bas décoré de flots tumultueux et pivoines, les épaules et les manches reproduisant le même motif de médaillon, l'intérieur doublé d'hermine
Condition
The robe is in good condition. The embroidery remains bright and intact. There is about 30-40% loss of original colour to the front maroon ground (original color on interior and reverse). The bottom section of both sleeves have been added with stains to the armpits. Along the shoulders there is some expected loose threads to the gold couched shou characters and some loose threads to the very ends of the cuffs. The fur lining might not be original, but is still quite old and remains in very good condition.
