Description
assis en dhyanasana sur une double base lotiforme amovible, les mains réunies devant lui portant le vase d'immortalité kalasha, le torse dénudé, or, à la taille marquée, vêtu d'un châle vert et d'un dhoti bleu clair tombant en plis sur la base, paré de brassards, colliers et barcelets à la cheville et aux poignets, le visage doré serein, coiffé d'une tiare ouvragée, la chevelure réunie en un haut chignon surmonté d'un ornement
Condition
The figure has a few some minor defects but is good otherwise: The tip-end of the veil hanging from the diadem and billowing behind his right earring is chipped (showing on the illustration in the catalogue), there is a small chip 6mm to the edge of his robe below his left knee (with later pink repaint), the kalasha in his hands can detach with the red flame forming the top part broken and reglued. The top section of the two small green ribbon hanging in front of the base are chipped (showing on the catalogue illustration), there is a 7cm "C-shape" chip to the cylindrical section above the base (fitting inside the figure). The wood base is in good condition. The actual colours are consistent with the catalogue illustration..
