Description

Condition

The vase to the left on the photograph has a hairline to the rim, possibly natural, some linear inclusions in the stone (visible on the photo), a few minor nicks around the age of the mouth rim and foo trim but generally in good condition. It is probably missing a cover. The taller vase to the right has natural patches of inclusions pale white and darker green, more pronounced toward the foot, some natural linear veins (8 cm vertically to one side, 6 cm diagonally to the other, extending 2cm onto the front), a small surface flake (3 x 3 mm) to the inner edge of one handle, some natural veins through the loose rings, the cover is missing. Otherwise generally good. The actual colour of the stone is a fraction more pale celadon than the illustration would suggest in the catalogue.
