Description

circulaires sur un court pied droit, l'une décorée au fond d'un dragon à cinq griffes dans un ciel nuageux et au revers de deux dragons poursuivant chacun une perle d'immortalité, marque apocryphe à six caractères Chenghua, l'autre à décor de deux canards dans un environnement aquatique, un décor identique souligné par une frise géométrique au revers 

Condition

Dragon dish: This dish is in very good condition with the exception of tiny glaze flakes encircling the rim; four pin head-size glaze gaps above the foot; a small number of glaze gaps overall; and very light overall scratches. Lotus pond dish: With the exception of a 1cm chip to the rim and associated 3cm hairline crack extending down from the rim; two further hairline cracks extending down from the rim (3cm and 2cm); a pin head-size glazing impurity to both the interior and exterior; very minor overall glazing impurities and very light scratches to the surface, the present dish is in good condition. Please note that the body of the dishes is of a slightly more celadon tone than illustrated in the catalogue. The dragon dish with the rim slightly reduced and three tiny rim chips and some glazing imperfections ; the other dish with a rim chip (1cm x 1mm) and a associated hairline crack (3.5cm) going down from the chip and another hairline crack (3.5cm) and a few iron spots and glaze gaps on the base ; the white glaze is more bluish than on the catalogue illustration
