à décor incrusté de style Shibayama en laque corne et ivoire sur un fond noir roiro d'une procession de renards au crépuscule, et de la procession d'un Daimyo, chacun signé dans un cartouche en relief

Formely in a South-American collection.
Condition
The panel with the foxes has a small chip 4 x 8 mm in the black lacquer to the upper edge. There is another old surface chip nearby (approx 3,5 x 1 cm) which is now secured with black repaint. Another repaint to the black ground to the lower right edge near the corner. A 31 cm thin hairline crackle in the black lacquer ground below the foxes walking at the front of the procession. Three other small dents to the left of the panel's lower edge with associated 3 to 5 cm vertical hairlines. Another small flake 0.5 mm diam and wear to the panels left edge on the gold ground (visible ono the photo). Otherwise generally in good condition. No inlay are missing.
The panel with the human figures has a few crackles in the background and around the figures (diagonally in the sky above the temple to the right of the Fuji, on the castle front bridge, above the figures at the front of the procession. Some of the cracks are secured (A triangular section to the right of the figure at the end of the procession ,showing on the photo, others crackled sections of lozenge form to the left of the gilt area below the castle's walls, a few small dents secured with black repaints along the edges to the corners (1 x 2cm to the lower right corner, 3 x 2 cm to the upper right), otherwise the panel is in good condition.
