de forme archaïsante agrémenté de deux anses en forme de têtes d'éléphants émaillées rose pâle, chaque face à décor d'un grand chrysanthème et pivoines feuillagées, l'intérieur et la base émaillés blanc avec marque Guangxu à six caractères en rouge sur couverte
Condition
A 2cm shallow chip to one of the side edges of the vase ; chips and associated flaking / losses of enamels to the four corners below the vase as well as in four places along the edges (the longest 2.5cm), visible on the catalogue illustration ; a 10cm hairline crack in the glaze at one of the upper corner (coming from one side of the vase and extending onto the top) ; a 3mm fritting and a small glaze gap to one ear of one elephant and above his head ; some expected wear and light scratches to the surface of the glaze and rubbing to the gilding around the rim.
