en forme de lanterne, avec un court col droit, le pourtour à décor polychrome sur fond rose de rinceaux et lotus, chauve-souris et symboles shou, une bande de ruyi jaune et fleurettes autour du col, une frise de grecques bleu ciel autour du pied, la base circulaire émaillée turquoise avec marque zhuanshu de l'empereur Daoguang en rouge sur couverte
Condition
A tiny 5mm chip restored to the rim, some rubbing to the gilding around the mouth rim, a 2 mm loss to the pink enamel around the neck, some light wear to the surface, otherwise in excellent condition.

Catalogue Note
A famille-rose vase of this type, decorated with bats and shou characters amidst lotus on a lime-green ground, was sold in our London rooms, 17th December 1996, lot 164; and another vase and cover of the Daoguang period, was also sold in our London rooms, 13th December 1983, lot 288.
