Description

de style archaïsant, la tête tournée vers l'arrière du corps, le plumage rabattu et les pattes repliées sous le corps pour former une composition compacte

Condition

With the exception of a natural hairline crack encircling 7/8ths of the neck; slightly nibbles to the edges due to the natural flaws in the stone; a 5mm C-shape nick to the base; and four natural pin head-size perforations to the tail; this piece is in good condition. Please note that the carving is of a slightly more celadon tone than illustrated in the catalogue.
