Description

Condition

The three plaques were detached at some stage and are now re-fixed to the ruyi with some chips showing the wood around the edges of each plaque ; the upper plaque has some hairline cracks / natural flaws / natural inclusions (the longest 11cm running accross the lower section ) ; natural line flaw to the central plaque ; the lower plaque is in good condition with the exception of a small chip to the reverse edge (5mm) ; the actual color of the jade is a fraction more white less greige pink that the illustration would suggest in the catalogue.
