Condition
The inkpaste box and cover is generally in good condition with the exception of a few nicks and a small dent outside to the edge of the mouth and foot rim, light oxidization and tiny expected firing bubbles in the cloisonné enamels. The lower section of the box with small losses of enamels in the turquoise ground just below the mouth rim (the longest a 2 cm x 2 mm section (visible on the catalogue illustration), another 9 x 2 mm band and another small dent). There are some light scratches and wear to the gilding inside the box, outside the mouth and cover rim (visible on the photo) and beneath the footrim.
